The Alive in the Spirit Virtual Pastoral Ministry Conference, 8 to 10 July 2021. It offers a next-level experience to participants through a variety of keynotes, home-grown workshops and enriching prayer and worship experiences. Keynote speakers include Lana Turvey-Collins, Richard Lennan and Leisa Anslinger, while a wide variety of workshops (including RCIA) will be on offer.
The live and on-demand opportunities are fully adaptable to strengthen the mission and aims of local Catholic communities. Parishioners can be involved while conference sessions are underway, from the evening of Thursday 8 July to Saturday 10 July, or participate in local groups using the ‘one demand’ facility at any time from the after-conference dates until Christmas 2021.
A media kit offers ways to promote the conference and an excellent Parish Kit offers easy approaches for engaging a parish community and adapting the conference to suit local needs. There is a ‘Alive in the Spirit Briefing’ Video with practical information and ideas on how to use conference resources to involve one or more parish groups, online or face to face, in a meeting room or home on YouTube.
Three long-standing and wide-reaching Catholic Networks have combined forces to host this event: Pastoral Ministry Network Incorporated; Christian Initiation Australia Network and the Mission Planners Network Oceania. Our organising group is not-for-profit and costs are being kept as low as possible. Registration is $40 per person, or $200 for communities (groups of five or more). To find out more and register, go to the Conference website.
This is a great opportunity to present a very real and unique opportunity to engage and enliven individuals and faith communities as we emerge from Covid-19.
