In many of our parishes priests are holding Zoom Masses. The Kerang, Pyramid Hill and Cohuna parishes, for example, gather together as one in prayer as their parish priest Fr Novelito Lim celebrates Mass. Using technology to their advantage, a guest Homilist can be from anywhere on the planet where there is internet access, so in many ways, a lost opportunity has created new opportunities.
Our two newest priests, Fr DJ Suguitan and Fr Adi Indra have been working together to live-stream Mass from the St Kilian's Chapel on weekdays and, on Sundays, from St Monica's Church in Kangaroo Flat. The Masses can be viewed on the Cathedral Cluster of Parishes Facebook page. It's heartening to know that not only their parishioners, but also their parents, who could not make it to their ordinations due to COVID-19 restrictions, can watch their sons celebrate Mass.
