The Feast of Christ the King marks the end of another year in the Church’s calendar and a time to reflect on the way we have come. In the Gospel for this Sunday, Jesus reminds us ‘Mine is not a kingdom of this world’ and the values of God’s kingdom witness to a truth that is not of this world
(John 18:33-37). This Gospel for the last Sunday of the liturgical year in 2021 invites us to reflect and pray about the values that shape our lives and the ways we have travelled during the last year.
