To celebrate our 150th Anniversary, the Archive will release a document, which might appeal to readers, in each edition of the Sandpiper.
Eaglehawk Confirmation Records 1921 and 1923
In this edition the Archivist, Dr Donna Bailey has selected three pages of Eaglehawk Confirmations, 1921 and 1923. It was only when reading through the pages, that she realised her own Grandmother is amongst those being confirmed in 1921.
The most popular confirmation names chosen were Theresa for girls and Joseph for boys during this period, in this parish.
