Deposit and Investment Products:
Cheque Account – cheque account facility, statements are issued monthly and interest is payable annually.
Savings Account – savings account facility, statements are issued monthly and interest is payable annually.
E-Saver account – 30-day notice saving account with a higher rate of interest than cheque and savings accounts. Statements are issued monthly and interest is payable annually.
Term Investment – used to invest deposits for periods up to 12 months with a higher rate of interest than cheque, savings and E-Saver accounts. Depositors can redeem their deposit in full or part at any time without penalty.
There are no bank fees with any of the deposit and investment Products.
Loan Products:
Overdrafts – provides for immediate access to funds to meet short term requirements. Interest accrues daily on overdrawn amounts.
Term Loans – used to fund purchases with flexible interest and principal repayment options.
Bridging Finance – is a short-term interest only loan commonly used in property transactions. A good example is property disposals, where the proceeds from sale are used to fund the purchase of a new property. Bridging finance covers the time between buying a new property and settling on the sale of your existing property.
All loan products have a variable interest rate.
Online Facility:
Account holders are provided with access to CDF Online which is a secure internet product that allows 24 hour access to your deposit and loan accounts. Functions include:
- View transactions, interest and account balances
- Extract transaction reports and statements
- Transfer of funds to DDF and external bank accounts
- Process BPAY payments
- Upload batch payments (i.e. payroll processing)
Banking Partner:
- The Fund banks with the National Australia Bank (“NAB”) and is the operational arm for the Fund (i.e. banking and credit card facilities).
